Come on Man !!! (1)

A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night, and in between does what he wants to do.

-Bob Dylan

"I wake up at 0630, get ready and have break fast by 0730, have a look at newspaper and leave for office by 0800.

'I work in office from 0830 to 1730 with one lunch break of half an hour and two tea breaks of 15 minutes each.

'I try to complete my work on daily basis and do not like my boss to complaint about pending file, late in the evening or next morning. In order to do so, sometimes I extend my working hours till 1800 or 1830, if necessary.

'In the evening, I go for table teniss or walk in a park near my house. I have light dinner at 2100 while watching news on television. After dinner I chat with my family and tell them about my day and they inform me about theirs'.

'I prefer to sleep by 2300. Before that I like to watch TV series for half an hour or an hour at max.

'I live a happy and satisfied life with my wife and two children. At the age of 42 I am proud to have everything in my bag. I have a flat in averagely good area with two bed rooms. I have a hatchback car and have accumulated a reasonable amount as bank balance. I take my family on a weeklong holiday every year in different parts of country and I am planning to have one week foreign trip next year when I will get promotion. My boss is satisfied with my work and so I am quite sure that I will get promotion on time."

Is this a deacription we would give for our life? Or is it the way we would like to live our life? Truely speaking, there should be no problem if someone gets to live life in this manner. He may be considered a happy, satisfied and successful person.

Let us consider a fictional character named Mr. Ranjeet Sharma, aged 42, born and brought up in a small town of Uttar Pradesh, who now lives in Delhi and works in a public limited company's Head Office, located in Nehru Place. He is the person who has voluntarily shared with us his daily routine in brief, for our benefit of understanding properly what a life should be like.

Mr. Sharma has also added that he had done M.Com. from Meerut University and then shifted to Delhi for a job of an accountant. Now he lives with family a respectable life.
